Hi, I'm Martin Ficek

I don’t create a single world through a single technique. I explore different ways of revealing what lies beyond the first glance.

I move between light and darkness, reality and imagination, beauty and unease. I paint, draw, and experiment with techniques and materials – from traditional painting and airbrush to wood and three-dimensional artworks.

I don’t simply create what I see. I’m interested in how we see it.

I create works that aim to capture attention, surprise, and provoke thought. Because beyond the first glance, there is often something more.
